Blue in the Face

25 years ago, Bev Hogue began creating portraits of fading film stars and other imaginary characters in a monochrome blue style that launched the highly collectible series Blue in the Face.  A signature work from the collection includes "Mary Tyler Mood," a  12 in. x 12 in. acrylic work on canvas that defined the dark humour of the series.
